Signature

Check it out I figured out how to make my own signature on my blog. Let me know if you want me to tell you how to do it!

Go to this website
This site will help you develop a signature. As a suggestion when it ask's for a background color choose transparent, that way you can change you background and it will always match....At the end of making a signature get the code, copy it and paste it on your blog...
Where do you paste it? Go to customize, then "settings", then "formatting", at the bottom of that page there is a section with a box called "post template". Paste the code in the box and save your changes. Now each time you go to post something to your blog you will notice there is the code for your signature, it will automatically appear each time you post. Call me if you are confused.

Holy Fish Eggs

While in SLC we decided to head out for some Sushi and Japanese food. We went to this cute little restraunt where there were little individual rooms and we sat on mats...way to cute. We ordered some California Rolls, I noticed that they had a pretty orange 'stuff' on the outside, but still ate them. (of course I had to take a picture of them) Joel commented that maybe they were fish eggs....no way, I thought. However, I decided to ask them what the orange was, sure enough they WERE fish eggs. I never thought that would be something I would have eaten, but now I can add that to my list of 'foods I have tried'. We got Kyler and Taran to also try the fish eggs. (Joely stayed in St. George for this trip so she missed out on the fish eggs ;-)) We also tried to eat the whole meal with chop sticks...way hard and over rated, but fun to do. The kids thought it was a blast, probably because they were better at the chop sticks then me...I sucked at them!

mom's 50th....

During my period of having NO camera, I missed out on some fun happenings. However I stole some of my cousins pictures of my moms 50th birthday. We all had dinner at my grandma and grandpa's house. We were all supposed to bring something black...anything black. we ended up with some fun stuff....

Here is Kyler and his Black olives (we werent the only ones to do black olives, Dianne one upped us with black beans, and Black berry Jell-o too).

My grandma gave her black lacy underwear...it was so funny. My grandma is quite the ham. This is Kyler holding the underwear saying "these you underwear grandma?" It really was too funny!

Joely got her a black Barbie....okay so maybe politically incorrect, but once again we thought it was funny. My mom's name is Barbara Black, so Taylor quickly dubbed the new Barbie "Barbie Black" he he he

I think we may just have too much fun at our get togethers! I can't remember each of the black things we gave her, or other people. But they were all rather funny. Now she has a house full of black items.
Happy Birthday mom!

AdVeNtUrE

What a blast we had coming home from Cannonville. Secretly..okay so maybe not so secretly I was hoping we would get snowed in on Sunday. I hate leaving that small town. I was almost granted that wish...we woke up to LOTS of snow...we quickly got dressed to head to Cannonville for church, only to find out that it was cancelled due to blizzard like conditions. We hung around for the morning...(playing in the snow, Kyler even got to clear some snow with uncle George in his tractor)

but the weather seemed to clear up, so we headed out.

We decided to head over Cedar Mountain so that the kids could enjoy the winter snow storm..we figured it would be a little harry at times, and it was ;-)

Once on Cedar Mountain we detoured and headed to Mammoth Creek (the cutest little village known to man), then decided to just head over to Cedar Breaks, the roads had all been plowed (though you couldnt actually see the blacktop anywhere on Cedar Mountain)...we followed the highway, and then...

....the stop sign. Can you believe it. The road was actually closed off. So we got out and played around in the deep snow.

i just love the snowy mountains. We had so much fun, running, jumping, swan diving (Joel) and even making yellow snow (Kyler)....what more could we want.

Of course then we had to turn around and head back towards Duck Creek and make our way down the rest of the mountain.

Mikki's reception

My cousin Mikki was married this weekend. The wedding was on Friday at the temple followed by a super YUMMY luncheon at the new Marriot hotel here in town. The on Saturday we headed to Cannonville for the reception.
I love the colors she chose, these really pretty teal colors...I loved it. This is where those hairbows I made were used, and the aprons...
...We all loved the snow there too. We headed to Teresa and Georges after the reception and spent some time there, and the way back to the motel we almost hit some deer though...can you imagine hitting a 'reindeer' right before Christmas, now that would have been a tragedy ;-)

...another new camera

...so if I've never said it yet, Costco is the best. The camera that I bought after thanksgiving, and have been using for the last few weeks, well I just wasnt loving it. So I called Coscto, told them I had thrown away the box, used it...blah blah blah....and they returned it, they gave me a full refund. So I LOVE costco. I got another camera, hopefully this one will be better ;-)
